Pete Carloss ABIPDT
Pete has been an Instructor since 1997 and has lived with dogs all his life.
He has obtained a Second Honours, followed by a First grade when he attended the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers courses. He has also attended other courses on a range of topics including Pet Dog Law, Aggressive and Dangerous Dogs plus many other aspects of Pet Dog Training.
Pete then went on to instruct pet dog classes at Puppy, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels, also offering private training to clients who require a little extra help with their dogs. Pete has worked with a large cross section of breeds ranging from Yorkshire Terriers to Great Danes and most others in between.
His last dog was a male German Shepherd named Kaiser which he took on as a 14 week old puppy. Kaiser was a student in a puppy class, but even at such a young age was already proving much too difficult for his previous owners to cope with. He was a very bright dog as his parents are both working stock so he was in constant need of both physical and mental stimulation. He was fortunate to be re-homed with Pete who transformed him into a much improved pet who was a pleasure to live with. Kaiser sadly had to be put to sleep and Pete is without a dog at the present moment. He is still dearly missed and Pete is not ready to replace him yet.
Pete offers a Board & Train service whereby your dog can live with Pete and be trained by him whilst in his care. He is fully insured and has been CRB checked, and is pleased to be able to offer his services to help Man’s Best Friend.
