Courses available to suit all levels of ability

Puppies (12-18 weeks)

The puppy course is structured around the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Course.
We welcome puppies in to our puppy classes following vaccination. It is important to have early training as this can help puppies to socialise in safe surroundings. It’s also easier to prevent any bad habits from developing. The whole family are welcome – including young children as it is just as important for them to socialise with other dogs too. We have found that when your puppy attends puppy classes, they progress much quicker in the beginner’s class.

Beginners

This class is the foundation for your dogs training. We aim to teach basic obedience exercises including Sit, Down, Stand, Heel, Come and Stay. We also cover topics such as grooming and the general care and responsibility of owning a dog.

Intermediate

Stay exercises are progressed, Heelfree and Distance Control are introduced in the safe class environment. Both you and your dog will improve as you gain confidence.

Advanced

This class is for the dogs and handlers that have worked through beginners and intermediate. A higher standard is set and new exercises introduced. Scent discrimination, Drop on Recall are amongst some of the exercises that may be introduced for you and your dog to enjoy.

Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme

We offer our clients the opportunity to take the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme at no extra cost. This is available 3 times throughout the year and is offered at Puppy, Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
